My channel features Grasstrack meetings from as far back as 1989, up to the present day. This is a crazy form of off road motorcycle racing, and at the top level, is probably the fastest off road motorcycle sport in the World, reaching speeds of between 90-100mph on grass fields. The Solo machines vary from the new relatively cheap GT140 class, to 500cc machines. The monsters of the sport are the 1000cc RH Sidecars which can produce up to 170bhp. The racing is a real adrenaline rush and things don't always go according to plan, as you can see in the "Motorbike Madness" videos. When the racing is good, it's really good, with handlebar to handlebar action. There are now over 1000 videos on my channel, so plenty to keep you entertained. Just type in the year in the channels search bar, and all videos from that year will appear.

A treat for all those who love the GT140 class. This is where it all came from. The FGA Solo's are very similar, and the racing is fantastic. Thanks Mar. Some things didn't go right for some reason, so had to try and match the colour on the Gopro to the rest of the cameras. But it looks reasonable. Great track, but you've got to ride it flat out.

Hey Bob...you refrer to the Penfolds in volume....I used to go grassing in the 60's and Penfolds were sidecar racers then...is it same family generations on.?
Yes it is the same family of Penfolds, and still Sons racing against Fathers, Brothers, and Cousins. They are all related to Penfold's from the 60/70's. Tom, Ernie, Bob, John, and Dave. I was there as well all those years ago.

@@steveharman8907 No, the 77 outfit was John Mills i believe, riding his Pink Lady outfit, and the dark green outfit could have been Vic Highland who use to give me and my brothers a lift on his bike back to his van. the Penfolds rode 125 Ernie, 2 John, 124 Jim, and Dave took 123 but he was a bit later.
@@BOB231158 Of course you are correct Bob...I remember all those facts now....and malcom simmonds as a solo....was he 30 or 33.?...and went on to do speedway....the man I knew was Jim 842 with Steve Fagg as passenger had a Vincent engined outfit and then his son Steve took the chair and got pulled off one race and busted his arm ...he is now aged 68.
@@steveharman8907 Malcolm Simmons did indeed ride number 30, and made a comeback at 50 years old to Grasstrack. Sadly we lost Jim Kinchin in a crash, and later his brother Ben.

I have already uploaded all the Youth meetings i have filmed. I never got invited to many, and some i did get invited to i was already booked to do an adult meeting. One of the best Youth meetings i have on UA-cam is the 1995 British Youth Championships.
